Herman’s Plumbing was founded in 1950 by Herman A. Lohse, Sr as a family business. Their focus was mainly residential furnace replacements and small plumbing. In a few short years, Herman’s plumbing grew quickly from a modest company into a large operation, with over 100 employees working at both residential and commercial sites all over the state. Herman’s Plumbing’s skilled employees have done work on custom homes and apartment complexes, schools, and City of Colorado Springs fire hydrants and water mains.

      They’ve also completed commercial projects from gas stations and warehouses, to the Air Force Academy Construction Test Lab, and even NORAD. From humble beginnings, through the years and still today, Herman’s Plumbing holds their employees to the highest standards, while still embracing the family values upon which the business was founded. The company owner, David Lohse, Licensed Master Plumber, chose to downsize and return to a humble, yet highly professional organization, still servicing all aspects of plumbing for residential and commercial plumbing systems.
